What is SHOUTcast?

SHOUTcast is an application that allows anyone from around the globe to host their own Radio station. Essentially it works like a personal Internet Radio. You can do a lot of things with this.

With a SHOUTcast Radio Station, you can,

• Host your own talk show
• Have a Weekly Podcast
• Have your favorite tunes playing 24 / 7
• Reach a community group

The opportunities are endless on what types of content you can have hosted on your SHOUTcast server. As long as you have the right to stream the content, you should have nothing to worry about.

Where Can I Find Your SHOUTcast Hosting?

Like most other services, the SHOUTcast Hosting product can be accessed from the menu at the top. In this case, SHOUTcast would be listed underneath the "_Services_" drop-down menu. You can also find our SHOUTcast Hosting packages available here.

What Are The Different Plans Available?

There are 3 different plans available with our SHOUTcast hosting.

• Basic SHOUTcast Hosting: Allows up to 30 listeners, with a 128 KBPS Bitrate space and 10 GB for your storage
• Advanced SHOUTcast Hosting: Allows up to 100 listeners, with a 256 KBPS Bitrate Space and 25 GB of space for your storage
• Ultimate SHOUTcast Hosting: Allows unlimited listeners, with a 384 KBPS Bitrate Space and 50 GB of storage

There are differences between the different plans, but you can always upgrade later if you have high growth and listeners.

Here is some additional information about our SHOUTcast Hosting plans,

• Each SHOUTcast server will house a maximum of 50 clients at a time
• Online Control Panel with WHMSonic for easy management of your SHOUTcast server
• Unmetered Traffic meaning you (and your listeners) can listen as much as you want
• FTP Access to Upload Files
• AutoDJ Capability
• Statistics reporting for viewing how popular your station is
• Various options for adding a Web player to your Website

What Are My Upgrade Options?

At any point in time, if you feel you would like to upgrade to a higher plan, you can do so from within your client area. You would be able to upgrade to all of the SHOUTcast plans currently available, including Advanced and Ultimate SHOUTcast Hosting.
