WebMail gives you the freedom to access your emails via any modern-day browser as a browser-based email interface or system. The majority of control panels offer WebMail, including Plesk. With Plesk, you can access webmail directly via URL or from within the Plesk control panel.
Once your domain has propagated, you can access WebMail by visiting:
http://webmail.yourdomainname.com
You'll need to substitute yourdomainname.com with your domain name in the example cited above.
Regardless of domain propagation, you can also access WebMail from inside Plesk by utilizing the process outlined in the steps below.
Plesk provides a program called SmarterMail for accessing your webmail. SmarterMail is a web-based mail program equivalent to cPanel's WebMail programs that allow users and server administrators to access their web-based mail anytime and anywhere. Please note that SmarterMail is a Windows-based webmail application and is not available on Linux at this time. To utilize this service, you must have a Windows Hosting package.
If your domain has not propagated yet, you can access SmarterMail with the following URLs:
http://your.server.ip.address:9998
Be sure to substitute your.server.IP.address cited in the example above with the IP address of your server. You can also use the server's name or hostname of the server via the following format:
http://servername:9998
Similarly to using the server's IP address, please ensure to replace the servername cited in the example above with your server's name or hostname.
