How to Change a cPanel User Password from WHM

If you have access to WHM and a client who cannot log in to their cPanel on your server, you may follow these steps to reset the password for them. First, you will want to log into WHM with your username and the password from your Client Area.

Step 1:  Type the word list in the top-left box.

Step 2:  Click on List Accounts

Step 3:  Search for the cPanel account using any of the options to find the account you wish to reset the password for

Step 4:  Click the + sign next to their account.

Step 5:  Enter the new password in the change password box below

Step 6:  Click Change

That's it! You've reset the password.
