How do I Backup a MySQL Database in cPanel?

This article will cover how to perform a MySQL database backup in cPanel. Please note that you'll need to be logged in to cPanel before proceeding. 1. Under the Databases section, click phpMyAdmin

1. PHPMyAdmin will load in a new tab.
2. Select the database to backup on the left-hand side
3. Click Export on the toolbar
4. Select Quick – display only the minimal options
5. Format: SQL
6. Click Go
7. The backup will automatically download through your browser.
